Situated at 30 km from Matera, 40 from Taranto and 70 from Bari, it lies 20 kms from the Ionian Sea, with the 
freeway at 25 kms. There is a small pretty town at 3 kms.

There are a total of 277 hectares, of which 170 hectares are irrigated arable land, 10 hectares of olive grove,plus bushland and pasture. There is a large farmhouse, staff quarters and 1200 square metre stables, plus another 1200 square metres of store-rooms, a pig-stye and cattle shed.

The property is supplied with electricity, public water and also has its own artesian bores.
